About the Southland Swim Association
Established in 2005, The Southland Swim Association (SSA) is a Non-Profit 501c3 Corporation based in Overland Park, Kansas. The mission of the SSA is to provide an organized swim league for summer recreational swimmers. The summer recreational season spans the six weeks from the first week in June to mid-July. The SSA ensures fun and friendly Dual and Championship competitions while promoting physical fitness, safety, and fairness, with an emphasis on the personal development of each individual swimmer. The season includes five weeks of dual competitions and a Championship meet.
